Creative Aging Talk at the Broome County Arts Council
Join Creative Aging Specialist, Christina Muscatello from the Memory Maker Project to learn how the arts play a vital role in maintaining and improving brain health.

A Love Supreme at Tioga Opportunities
The Memory Maker Project is bringing the Tioga Arts Council on the road! We’ll visit residents at Riverview Manor, Elderwood at Waverly, and Tioga Opportunities throughout May and June to view and discuss artwork inspired by John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme, created by TAC’s artist members.
Participants will be invited to create their own art and collaborative poetry inspired by the music. The final work from all three communities will be displayed in a Creative Celebration at the Owego Visitor’s Center.

Join the Memory Maker Project to celebrate 50 years of Broome County Senior Centers!
For their golden anniversary, we’ll tour all nine Senior Centers to reminisce about 1974—the year the first center opened, create artwork inspired by 1974 pop culture and history, and write collaborative poetry on Post-It Notes (which were invented…you guessed it…in 1974).
Participants from all Centers will be invited to display their work at Atomic Tom’s during First Friday on July 5th.
